Jesus appeared to Saint
Margaret Mary Alocoque,
a Visitation nun in France,
between December of 1673 - June of 1675.
Jesus made many revelations to Saint Margaret Mary.
12 prominent ones called the Promises of Our Lord.
I will give them all the grants necessary for their
state in life.
I will establish peace in their families.
I will console them in their difficulties.
I will be their secure refuge during life, and,
more especially, at the hour of death.
I will shower down abundant blessings on all their
undertakings.
Sinners will find in my Heart a source and boundless
ocean of mercy.
Tepid souls shall become fervent.
Fervent souls shall rise speedily to great
perfection.
I will bless every place in which the picture of my
Sacred Heart shall be exposed and honored.
I will give to priests the power of touching the
most hardened hearts.
Persons who propagate this devotion shall have their
names written in my Heart, and they shall never be effaced therefrom.
I will grant the grace of final repentance to all
those who shall communicate on the first Friday, nine months consecutively. They shall not die in mortal sin,
nor without having received the Last Sacraments, for my divine Heart will become their secure refuge at that last
moment.
| Our Lord told St. Margaret Mary that these 12 promises would be
fulfilled if those who accepted them truly believed. Jesus said to St. Margaret Mary "Do you believe I can
do this?" "If you believe, you will see the power of my Heart in the magnificent of my love." |

How to complete the Nine First Friday's Devotion:
Receive holy Communion on each first Friday;
The nine Fridays must be consecutive;
They must be made in honor and in reparation to His
Sacred Heart.
