Prayer To The Wound In The
Shoulder
Saint Bernard asked Our Lord which was His greatest
unrecorded suffering. Our Lord Jesus
answered to Saint Bernard:
"I had on My Shoulders, while I bore My Cross
on the Way of Sorrow, a grevious Wound which, was more
painful than the others, and which is not recorded by
men. Honour this Wound with thy devotion, and I
will grant thee whatsover thou dost ask through its
virtue and merit, and in regard to all those who shall
venerate this Wound I will remit to them all their
venial sins, and will no longer remember their mortal
sins".

St. Margaret Mary was a French Roman Catholic nun.
St. Margaret Mary
promoted the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
She had visions of Jesus. On December 27, 1673,
the Feast of St. John "Beloved Disciple", St. Margaret
Mary reported that Jesus permitted her to rest her head
upon His heart, and then disclosed to her the wonders of
his love, telling her that he desired to make them known
to all mankind and to diffuse the treasures of His
goodness, and that He had chosen her for this work.
Of the
many revelations Jesus made to Saint Margaret Mary,
there are 12 prominent ones called the Promises of Our
Lord. They were made by Jesus to those souls who
devote themselves, a devotion to his Sacred Heart, the
Sacred Heart of Jesus. Christ wished in this
extraordinary way to encourage a devotion which
emphasizes God.
Our Lord told Saint Margaret Mary that these 12 promises
would be fulfilled if those who accepted them truly
believed. Jesus said to Saint Margaret Mary
"Do you believe I can do this?" "If you believe, you
will see the power of my Heart in the magnificent of my
love."
Jesus said to Saint Margaret Mary, "Behold this Heart
which has so loved men that it has spared nothing, even
to the point of spending itself and being consumed to
prove its love to them."
A note on Saint Margaret Mary, she born in in Burgundy,
France. St. Margaret Mary Feast Date: October 16th.

Our Lady of The Miraculous
Medal

St.
Catherine Laboure mother died when she was only nine
years old. In the midst of her terrible grief at her
mother's passing, Catherine turned to Our Lady. Climbing
up on a chair, she reached for a statue of the Blessed
Virgin that stood high on a shelf in her mother's bed -
room, clasped it to her breast, and said aloud:
"Now, dear Blessed Mother, you will be my mother."
St. Catherine Laboure received apparitions and the
Miraculous Medal from the Blessed Virgin Mother. On the
night of July 19, Sister Catherine was awakened by an
angel who led her to the chapel to meet for the first
time with The Blessed Virgin Mother. This 1st
apparition of the Blessed Virgin was on July 19, 1830 Chapel Rue du Bac 140, Paris. St. Catherine Laboure only Saint to touch the Blessed
Virgin Mother. During the 1st apparition the
Blessed Virgin Mother appeared to St. Catherine Laboure and sat on a chair. St.
Catherine Laboure within a moment she is on her knees in
front of the Blessed Virgin Mother, with her hands confidently
folded on the Blessed Virgin Mary's knees.
On November 27, 1830 The Two Visions While Sister Catherine was
meditating in the chapel, she saw Blessed Virgin Mother.
The Blessed Virgin Mother showed herself in two
visions:

First The Blessed Virgin Mother was seen standing on a
globe.

The second part of the vision are the two sides of the
Miraculous
Medal which Sister Catherine was
instructed to have made.
The Medal was made according to Our Blessed Virgin Mother
design.
The
Medal is a symbol of The Blessed Virgin Mother's love.
All who wear the Medal will receive great graces,
Blessed Virgin Mother maternal protection.

On Oct. 30, 1845, Jesus told Sister Marie de
Saint-Piere
"The Holy Face is the very Image of God."
On Dec. 21, 1846 she was the first soul to see a vision
of hell. She saw the multitude of souls falling in
hell and Jesus invited her to pray for poor sinners.
Our Lord told Sister Marie de Saint-Piere on March 16,
1844,
"Oh, if you only knew what great merit you acquire by
saying even once,
'Admirable is the name of God', in the spirit
of reparation of blasphemy!"

Our Lady Of Lourdes

In 1858 in the grotto of Massabielle, near Lourdes in
Southern France, apparitions took place. The Blessed
Mother appeared eighteen times to a poor fourteen year
old girl, Saint Bernadette.
On February 25, 1858 the Blessed Virgin Mother appeared
to Saint Bernadette, and told her scratch the dry earth. Saint Bernadette Soubirous listened and water
immediately gush forth.
On March 25, 1858 Blessed Virgin Mother appeared and
revealed her identity to Saint Bernadette, "I
am the Immaculate Conception."
The
Blessed Mother asked that a chapel be built at the
grotto where the apparitions took place.
A chapel in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mother was built
at that exact location of the apparitions.
The
water from the still-flowing spring has proved effective
in healing. Miraculous cures at Lourdes are an
attribute from the miraculous water.
Our Lady of Lourdes, Feast Day on February 11th.
St.
Bernadette Soubirous waited until after the last
apparition, of the Blessed Virgin Mother, Our Lady of
Lourdes had made to her and went into the convent, and
became a nun.
St. Bernadette Soubirous Feast Day is on April 16th.

Our Lady Of Victory
|
In 1620, King Louis XIII of France made a vow that if
his troops were successful in ousting the Protestants
(Huguenots) from their fortress in La Rochelle, King
Louis XIII would build a Church in honor of the Blessed
Virgin Mother , Our Lady Of Victory.
After the victory, a site for the Church (Shrine)
was chosen on the property of the Discalced Hermits of St. Augustine in Paris. King Louis XIII laid the first
stone himself, one that was inscribed with a dedication
to the Blessed Virgin Mother, Our Lady of Victory, on September 9, 1629. The
Basilica of Notre-Dame des Victoires building was
completed in 1740.
A poor laborer entered the Augustinian Order in 1630 and
took the name Brother Fiacre. He took up residence at
the Church (Shrine) and lived there until his death in
1684. Brother Fiacre was renowned as a mystic. He had a
vision of the Blessed Virgin Mother in 1637. The Blessed
Virgin Mother told him to tell the King Louis XIII he would soon be
blessed with a son, his son would inherit the throne of his
father, King Louis XIII.
King Louis XIV was born on February 10,
1638, and, in thanksgiving to the Blessed Virgin Mother,
King Louis XIII consecrated France and his royal family
with his son to the Blessed Virgin Mother.
